VEGAS 9.0 PLATINUM PRO PACK : After registration you will find that it does less to what it should for the money you paid.To start with: The rendering bit rate is fixed and rather to the high side for quality reasons and assuming a 4.7GB DVD disk to be used the user is NOT allowed to more than 100min. of footage. Even so rendering is very slow requiring about 150min. for 100min. footage. If your footage is more than about 100min. then before burning starts re-compression takes place -now you are allowed to variable bit rate - and after about another 2 hours of waiting your DVD is ready but NOT to any quality considering the previous limitations involved. Further to the above one has to face problems in A\V sync. correction - the appropriate tab simply does NOT work- the sound part is nothing more above average considering the tenths of far better and FREE programs you can download, and finally on top of all once you buy the program you are left with a paid CD for setting it up, which is useless as you have to download version 9.0b for the program to work at all.The program also includes the burning machine but you better have to download that one as well, using the same S\N as stipulated on the package.

Best:

Nothing in particular.

Worst:

Even for the above average user there are far better programs, more reliable, easier to handle and cheaper.
